Steve, Dave, Roger and myself play 'Coarse' Bridge about once a month. The link between us is that we have all taught at Aldridge School at some point in our teaching careers but all of us are now retired. Has retirement improved our standard of Bridge? No, but it has given Mr Stats more time to do his stuff.
This monthly gathering has been going on since the late '70s and even though I was draughted in in 1982 I'm still the new kid.
